We live in a day and age where fat, food and emotions have become the enemy that our society and the multi-billion dollar weight loss industry wants us to fight.
When I was 19, over 300lbs, chronically depressed and lost in life I was done fighting my body. I struggled with weight, food and body shame my whole life. After trying everything available, I took a radically different approach. After years of trying to fix everything about me externally, I focused internally and met myself, for the first time.
I knew that the solution wasn't another diet, but rather a radical spiritual-emotional awakening. Even after I lost weight initially, I struggled with re-gain. That is when I realized that just because the physical weight was lost, the emotional weight was not.
I refused to accept defeat, and instead developed a fresh perspective and started placing much more of an emphasis on emotional-spiritual health. For me, that was when it came together and I realized that mind, body and spirit health is the biggest missing piece to the wellness puzzle and humanity's ultimate birthright.
I found myself naturally helping others who were struggling with figuring out what health and wellness meant to them. As a writer, coach, and contributor, I strive to constructively add my unique voice to the dialogue on wellness in hopes of activating a movement of empowered acceptance of our bodies and their connection to our emotional-spiritual health.
I am fortunate to devote my life to helping others step into their power by uncovering the emotional roots of our weight, body shame and food choices.

What matters is how you feel, not just how you look. This work is not about fixing you, changing you or shaming your body-- it's about deciding how you want to feel, and embodying that change.

"Our session was so intense. Zach helped me get to the core of my most major issue. Holy sh*t I had no idea how large of a shadow this was. I have danced around this for over a decade. I honestly disagreed with him in the beginning when he called me out on my apathy. It didn't make sense to me. Then he moved right in like a laser on exactly where I needed to shine the light. Zach, that was incredible. I'm still sitting here stunned."
